  • Post and beam structural frame consisting of curved laminated Southern Yellow Pine beams and horizontal supports.
  • On-center  dimension between sections is 32"
  • Radius of  the curve is 26" to the glass.

ROOF PITCH

  • Solarium 1/12, 2/12, 3/12 and 22 degrees.

STRUCTURAL LOADING

  • The Brady-Built  Solarium is designed to carry a live load 0f 40 PSF or higher,  depending on the span of the beam.

FINISH

WOOD COMPONENTS

  • Standard factory clear polyurethane finish.
  • Optionally left unfinished to be stained or finished by the customer to match existing décor.

ALUMINUM

  • Electro statically applied baked on enamel.
  • Option of  dark bronze, white, or beige.

GLASS

  • All units  feature insulated tempered double pane glass panels 7/8" thick.
  • Argon gas  filled high performance Low-E glass is standard.

SEALANTS

  • A wet seal system is used consisting of glazing tape and structural silicone  for superior weatherproofing.

EXTERIOR CAPPING

The exterior is finished in a maintenance-free extruded aluminum capping system consisting of:

  • A continuous,  one piece heavy gauge (.344" thick) aluminum pressure plate that  is fastened to the beams to assure proper compression on the wet  seal system.
  • A streamlined  extruded aluminum cap (.062" thick), which snaps over the fastener  channel extrusions on the front and gable extrusions and conceals  the fasteners.
  • Structural silicone on all roof horizontal seams.
  • Extruded aluminum track, which is mounted on the roof extrusion channel to accommodate the optional solar screens.
